Born in Havana, Cuba in 1996; from a very young age I showed a strong art side that only got stronger over time. Once my parents realized that I was determined to do art at the age of 7, I started taking classes, and presented my art in kids competitions and won several awards. By the age of 11 it was time to get serious, kids art classes were not doing it for me anymore. Luckily enough my mother found a retired art professor, from one of the most prestigious art schools in Cuba. Thanks to those classes that went from the most basic shapes to the most detailed-photo-realistic still-life and hours and hours of practicing; I grew as an artist and developed all the skills that are so useful nowadays; to create the most beautiful tattoo designs.
Once I came to the US, I auditioned to enter Douglas Anderson School of the Art and, finally my dream of attending an art school became real; those two years were the best moments of my life. I really enjoyed the time I spent there, as I explored new forms of art such as printmaking, sculpture and, my favorite, photography. I graduated in 2015 and just like that I have been in The United States for 11 years already, and the best experience has been learning from all the different cultures that enrich this country, being able to travel around and learning from every step.
Now, it’s crazy to think about that it’s been 3 years since this crazy roller coaster took off; when I would have never ever even thought about tattooing; then I decided that this isn’t my job, but my passion. Definitely all those skills and artistic view, really gave me a great base when I started tattooing, the whole process went smoothly and I will always be grateful to those that gave me this great opportunity. I have always been an ambitious person, so it is in my nature to find new ways of improvement and growth. Having my own studio has been a dream come true and I can’t wait to see where this new path takes me. I am the luckiest artist in the world thanks to my supportive family , friends and the most loyal clients.
